Today's silver lining: Be grateful for the trials in your life for they are a testament of how much the Lord loves you and how strong you really are. Everything that comes your way is meant to shape you into the person you are meant to be.

Finding the joy...
Finding joy and love in everyday life may seem simple yet there are days where I struggle with it. I live in such a wonderful country, have the blessing of being a part of such a wonderful family and have the privilege of have the gospel in my life; yet there are days where I feel like I am failing miserably. It is days like these that I pray my eyes and heart will be opened to the beauty that surrounds me. Silver linings are everywhere, it is up to us to see them.

No Shame
When seeking happiness, there is no shame in recognizing sadness and heartache. Allowing ourselves to feel the ugly and painful enables us to recognize true happiness. It encourages us to seek who we truly are and embraces the reality that life is bumpy and hard. Without sadness and sorrow there would be no joy.
Silver Lining- It is ok to cry for what is lost; for everything that we lose brings something new and worthwhile.

Vulnerabilty
Allow yourself to be vulnerable. Allow yourself to feel sorrow, pain, and fear. Through vulnerability you experience hardships and learn lessons that cultivate the most precious and powerful experiences and emotions we can have.
"The process of regaining our emotional footing in the midst of struggle is where our courage is tested and our values are forged. Rising strong after a fall is how we cultivate wholeheartedness in our lives; it’s the process that teaches us the most about who we are."
-Brene Brown
“We cultivate love when we allow our most vulnerable and powerful selves to be deeply seen and known, and when we honor the spiritual connection that grows from that offering with trust, respect, kindness and affection.
Love is not something we give ...or get; it is something that we nurture and grow, a connection that can only be cultivated between two people when it exists within each one of them – we can only love others as much as we love ourselves.

Shame, blame, disrespect, betrayal, and the withholding of affection damage the roots from which love grows. Love can only survive these injuries if they are acknowledged, healed and rare.”

"The choices we make dictate the lives we lead."
I have learned so much these past few weeks. I have finally hit the anger part of the breakup but I find I am more angry with myself and how I allowed this to happen.
I can't blame anybody else for what has become of my life. I made bad choices, I followed my fear instead of forging through to find the beauty of life. I allowed people to treat me badly and to use my generosity and not return the kindness.
I did this. I must correct my patterns to prevent this from happening again.
Today's silver lining- it is never too late to correct your own behaviour and to better yourself for the future.

Power of Positive Thinking
The power of positive thinking is simple and true. Finding that one happy truth about every situation allows you to empower yourself through the struggles. It encourages the light to shine from within. Take responsibility and control of your life. Make your actions and thoughts count toward the better. If you see someone who seems a little gloomy or is constantly nagging, your one positive comment could be what gives them a nudge to finding a happy thought that day.
Be your own reason to be happy. Find that beauty in yourself. Stop seeking it from others. We all have the choice to find happiness in everyday. We all have the ability to uplift others with our encouraging words.

Positive #1
This week I have had so much negative engery follow me around. I have been depressed and deeply saddened about the end of my relationship and the canceling ofour wedding.
This week I want to move forward. I need to think more positive. Focus on my future and strive to be the best mom I can be for my son.
This upcoming Saturday was to be the wedding. Instead of crying and feeling miserable, I want to celebrate what I have and what I am striving for. Positive thinking come my way and let the future begin.

Lets begin...
Good day to you fellow bloggers or readers!
Having recently come to a point in my life that normally makes you look at the negative and find the sad in everything, I found that I needed to seek out positive thoughts.
We live in a negative world. People are constantly bombarded with the negatives and the good things tend to get brushed aside. As a mother I find this disturbing and somewhat scary. As a woman, it angers me that so many negatives things get praised and gossiped about. As a woman that suffers with depression and anxiety, I am striving to find a way to find the positive in life. To minimize the harsh effects of life.
Recently I became single. I broke off my engagement from my fiancé and decided to re-evaluate my life. I wanted to look at the choices that I had made and set out in a direction that will allow for me to become the woman I am meant to be.
Stay tuned for positive thoughts!
Much love to you all,
